For this assignment we were told to pick one formal and one conceptual concern to work with. I really wanted to completely mutilate this pomegranate. Slice it and watch the juice bleed. I also wanted to squeeze the fruit with sinew to release more juice. The skin of the pomegranate was more resilient than I expected and I had to make additional cuts to help the fiber hold.

Once the pomegranate was wrapped I put it in the fridge overnight, and let it sit on the counter for a couple of hours before removing the sinew, documenting the cuts, opening the pomegranate, documenting the bruises and one again wrapping sections of the fruit.
