Going through old work for a critique today I rediscovered this photo from a year ago. I will probably include this print in my Senior Show. Piper helped me come up with a concept to work with for curating my photographs. I think I will include the grid, a series on the remains, and a series comparing what I can do to my body and what I need stand-in for (the pomegranate). It should be enough for my space. I am still starting to think about including the actual crochet or a small drawing but I think just sticking with photographs will make a stronger statement. I may add text or more involved titles to pull farther away from any fetishistic qualities.
